Drettmann Yachts
Drettmann Yachts is a company that was founded in a small garage in Bremen in 1970 and has grown over time to become a world-renowned yacht manufacturer. Drettmann Yachts treats each yacht as a labor of love and personally fulfills the individual demands of its customers.
The company became the chief agency in Europe in 1977 and sold more than 750 Neptunus motor yachts. Then in 1989 Albert Drettmann and his wife Claudia took over management of the business and started building their own yachts.
Drettmann Yachts continued its success story by introducing the Bandido and Elegance yachts in 1993. These two series have been successful, with more than 350 ships sold worldwide.
In 2006, the company opened its new representative company building in Bremen-Hemelingen, becoming its geographical and entrepreneurial hub. Additionally, it set new standards in terms of energy balance and maneuverability by developing a new generation of diesel-electric pod drives in 2015.
In 2017, Drettmann Yachts took an important step towards internationalization by working as an experienced partner of Gulf Craft for Europe, Russia and Ukraine. Additionally, in 2019, it began to offer a wide range of products for the world of water sports by taking over the distribution of Bavarian motor yachts.
