Birchwood Marine Ltd, which has a long history in the maritime world, was taken over by Vick Marine Ltd in 2002. This acquisition covered the intellectual property, goodwill and assets of Birchwood Boat Company Ltd and further strengthened the influence of Vick Marine Ltd, a group holding company, in the marine industry.
Birchwood Marine Ltd (BML) was established to produce motor yachts primarily from 29ft to 51ft for the UK and European markets. However, Birchwood’s story doesn’t end there. The company is focused on expanding its product range and providing innovative solutions, constantly responding to market demands.
Today we offer motor yachts from 34ft to 74ft through Birchwood Dealers or direct sales. However, our plans for the future are even more exciting. Hybrid and electric motor yachts are opening a new era in the maritime world by focusing on sustainability and environmentally friendly technologies. Our plans include offering Hybrid and Electric models in 29ft, 35ft and 43ft sizes in the near future.
When we take a look at the history of Birchwood, we see the importance of Birchwood 25, which was produced between 1968 and 1982 and sold more than 1500 units. This successful and popular cruiser became a favorite among sailing enthusiasts. However, Birchwood remains a part of not only the past but also the future.
One of our cruisers named Siren was equipped with a full interior renovation and new canopy cover in 2021, giving it a powerful and modern appearance. We also renewed its engine, updated its technical specifications and took steps to offer our customers a better maritime experience.
